MakomNY's Response to COVID-19
MakomNY Friends and Greater Community Members: We know this is a difficult time for our community and for the world. Please know that we are here for you and for the greater Long Island community. As we are encouraging people to stay home and practice social distancing, MakomNY will be closed at least through the end of April. We have arranged for on-line learning for our students, check-in zooms for parents and adults in the community, teens and college students as well, and will live-stream Shabbat and Holiday Services, as well as other virtual programs as much as possible. Even during this time of physical distancing, it is important to remember that we must be socially connected. We are a community, and are now learning how to be a community beyond traditional walls. We are always here to offer help and support. If you or anyone in your family of in our greater community is in need during this time, please don't hesitate to reach out to Rabbi Bravo or Sherry Gutes or call us at 516.447.0818. Together, we will support one another. Rabbi Bravo, Sherry Gutes and the MakomNY Team |
